On Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, the Most Reverend Martin Holley, D.D., celebrated Mass with the Catholic Diocese of Memphis' Korean community. The Mass was celebrated in the original church at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Germantown. Concelebrants were Father Kazimierz Abrahamczy, SVD and Father Fidelis Armin, SVD. Assisting were Deacon Justin Mitchell and Deacon James Schmall.

The Memphis Diocese offers and outreach ministry to families who immigrated from Korea to the United States and for their family members. The Korean culture was represented in the language used to proclaim the Gospel, the traditional clothing worn by some attendees and the music during the Mass.
