Catholic Schools Week celebration at St. Ann's

Angela de Jong, Development Director

St. Ann Catholic School in Bartlett had a wonderful Catholic Schools Week. Students did a fabulous job of honoring this year’s mantra: Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.

The week kicked off on Sunday with a successful Preview Day. Student ambassadors showed potential families around our school and talked about all the great things happening at SAS!

Monday’s Diaper Drive collected almost 4,000 diapers and more than 10,000 wipes for Catholic Charities. These supplies will go to help babies all over the MidSouth.

On Tuesday, we celebrated our students; even though they fell in the faculty vs student volleyball match.

We honored our nation on Wednesday by dressing in our red, white and blue. We also hosted an art contest. Congratulations to our winners: Lio Gomez, Shania Bailey, Jayla Dorsey and Abigail Adams.

Friday rounded off the week with Spirit Day and Teacher Appreciation Day. Students honored their teachers with gifts and a luncheon. The day ended in a fun spirited trivia contest with pizza on the line! Our Book Fair was a success, raising money for our library.

Thank you to everyone that made this week a true reflection of our Catholic Identity. We are truly blessed.
