On Sunday, April 30, Rev. James L. Pugh celebrated 50 years as a priest. Rev. Pugh was ordained by the Most Reverend Bishop Joseph Durick at the Cathedral of Incarnation in Nashville on April 29, 1967.
Throughout the years, Rev. Pugh has served as associate pastor at various Memphis Diocese parishes including St. William, St. Louis, Little Flower and St. Paul; he has served as pastor at St. John, Incarnation, St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anne, St. Andrews, St. Regina and St. Paul.
Rev. Pugh currently resides at Ave Maria Home in Bartlett.
