Week of Prayer for Christian Unity January 18-25, 2018.

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As your Bishop, I ask that you join with me in praying for the unity of all Christians throughout the world.

The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) has designated the week of January 18-25, 2018 as the International Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. Under the theme of “Your Right Hand, Oh Lord, Glorious in Power,” let’s pray together in the unity that we share through our baptism in the Lord Jesus Christ for the strength and boldness of working together in sharing the Good News of our faith.

May we “All Be United in Mind and Heart, As One In the Lord, One Day.”

May God bless you, and may Our Blessed Mother Mary keep you in the mantle of her maternal love and care.

Sincerely in Christ,

Most Reverend Martin D. Holley, D.D.
Bishop of the Diocese of Memphis in Tennessee
