St. Francis seventh and eighth-graders win at Memphis Catholic Math Challenge 2018

Congratulations to our St. Francis of Assisi students who participated in the 7th annual Memphis Catholic Math Challenge sponsored by Memphis Catholic High School. The St. Francis eighth grade team received 1st place tier medals and came in 1st place in the 7th/8th grade division. The seventh grade team also competed in the 7th/8th grade division earning 2nd place tier ribbons. The sixth grade team competed in the 5th/6th grade division and earned 1stplace tier medals and 2nd place overall. The fifth grade team also competed in the 5th/6th grade division earning 3rd place tier ribbons.

The Math Challenge is a tool used by hundreds of Catholic schools across the United States to enhance the development of students' math skills. The competition included team and individual problem solving.
