Advent Day of Recollection

Saturday, Dec 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM - English

Ends with Sunday vigil Mass.

Advent Season 2014 is about at the corner!

You may ask yourselves:

  • How was my last Advent & Christmas Season?
  • Uh, what did I do then?

If you have a hard time to remember, now:

  • What can I do to live fully this Advent Season?
  • How do I prepare myself to welcome the coming of the Lord?
  • What must I do to rekindle in my heart the passion for Advent & Christmas Season?
Fr. Simon Thoi Hoang, SVD, pastor of Sacred Heart, invites you to spend an afternoon to reflect on "The meaning of the Incarnation" "The Word become flesh and made his dwelling among us." (Jn. 1:14)

Few essential questions will help you to explore the concept of the Incarnation and to rekindle in your heart the love for this special liturgical season: Why would God want to take on human flesh? What does "the Incarnated God" do with my life? How do I allow the Incarnated God be manifested in my life?
