About the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network

Known nationally as the "Miracle in Memphis," the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network is an unprecedented example of previously closed Catholic schools re-opening to serve predominantly low-income students through significant philanthropic support. The Jubilee network serves approximately 1,400 students of many faiths across eight elementary schools and a middle/high school. The Jubilee Catholic Schools are committed to providing students a truly excellent education that is rooted in faith and academic rigor. The New York Times has noted that "the most successful [urban Catholic school] model of all may well be in Memphis."

The Jubilee Catholic Schools Network has been newly reconfigured and is launching enhanced programming that will help students achieve higher and higher levels of excellence. Administrative Assistant

The Jubilee Catholic Schools Network is seeking an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills to serve as the administrative assistant in the Jubilee Schools Office. The ideal candidate would have experience working in an office setting, be able to multi-task, possess strong intra personal skills, have the ability to work as part of a team, and be willing to learn new technology. Job duties would include clerical duties as well as responsibilities with assisting in accounting and payroll.

Director of Nutrition Services

Seeking a Director of Nutrition Services for the Jubilee Catholic Schools Network. The Network serves breakfast and lunch to more than 1,600 students daily. This position is responsible for the management and monitoring of the network's Child Nutrition Program (CNP) pursuant to USDA CNP rules and regulations as disseminated through the Tennessee State Department of Education.

The director administers all aspects of the Child Nutrition Program including but not limited to claims for reimbursement and government commodities as well as processing all free and reduced meal applications. Careful attention ensuring compliance with standards of practice and regulatory requirements of the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Program is a must. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator with strong administrative skills.


Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition or related field Or Bachelor’s degree in any area and state recognized certificate for school nutrition directors Or Associate’s degree or educational equivalent and three years of relevant school nutrition programs experience.
