A study of the history of the liturgical
life of the church and introduction to the basic
resources, tools, and method of liturgical studies.

LITURGICAL YEAR (18 HRS)
A study of the history of the theology of
Christian celebrations, the development of the Church
year and its meaning for Catholic worship today.
Prerequisite class: This course is open only to those
who have already completed the Liturgical Foundations
Class.

EUCHARIST (18 HRS)
A study of the history and theology of
the Eucharist. Prerequisite class: This course is open
only to those who have already completed the Liturgical
Foundations Class.
• MUSIC
AND THE LITURGY (10 HRS)
An in-depth exploration of the church
documents which shape the use of music in the liturgy
today.
• THE
SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL (20 HRS)
This course examines the process of entry
into the Christian Mystery through Baptism,
Confirmation, and Eucharist.
