Students Become Presidents for a Day

The third grade students at Holy Rosary School held their annual Presidents' Day celebration in February. Each student was assigned a President to research. The students completed a biography report and a poster depicting the President's life. Students then came to school dressed as their chosen President and paraded around the school before returning to their classroom for the oral presentation about their President.

The "Presidents" then enjoyed the first annual Presidential luncheon. The tables were decorated in red, white and blue and the menu consisted of American favorites including hot dogs and macaroni and cheese with apple pie and ice cream for dessert.

The Presidential Luncheon gave the students the opportunity to celebrate the culmination of their Presidential Project.
