Golf Tournament Planned

The Sixth Annual DeNeuville Learning Center Golf tournament will be held at North Creek Golf Course on September 5. Registration for the tournament will begin at noon with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner and awards follow the tournament. All proceeds benefit DeNeuville Learning Center operated by Sisters of the Good Shepherd.

DeNeuville Learning Center is located at 190 South Cooper Street and provides a safe learning environment for women. The center provides educational opportunities for women in need. Classes offered include GED preparation, English as a Second Language, Computer and Software skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc), Job Search skills, just to name a few.

The annual tournament is one of two main fundraisers for DeNeuville Learning Center and support is critical to maintain the center's operation budget.
