New Orleans news online

Catholicsrespond.org is a joint effort by the Catholic Press Association of the United States and Canada, and the Catholic Academy for Communication Arts Professionals. The site, developed by John Feister of St. Anthony Messenger Press proposes to help reconnect hurricane evacuees with their diocesan communications, primarily by amplifying the efforts of their diocesan communications offices, including Catholic newspapers, and to help get the story out, from those affected by the recent hurricanes. The site already carries online editions of the Clarion Herald, the New Orleans Archdiocesan newspaper, in a pdf format. This enables evacuees from the New Orleans area to stay in touch with their home parishes and diocese.
